Position Summary

The Mgr-Retail Health Training is responsible for the oversight of day-to-day operations of the Retail Health Training Team, to include coordination of curriculum and activities around educating urgent care and occupational medicine staff, leader, and providers. The Retail Health Training Manager partners with Director- Indigo Experience, Retail Health leadership team, and pertinent MHS system leadership in: nursing, radiation safety, education services, laboratory services, ancillary testing, registration, revenue cycle, quality, pharmacy, customer experience, risk management, supply chain and infection prevention to develop, interpret and maintain clinical and workflow standards that align with best practices in Retail Health. Oversight of training curriculum will include each of the aforementioned components with a strong emphasis in the Back Office (nursing), Registration/Revenue Cycle, and Leadership curriculum tracks. This position requires a strong ability to build a diverse team and display strong communication skills within rapidly changing workflows and environment. This position serves as part of the Retail Health leadership team and participates in collaboration, development, and implementation within the Retail Health division and MHS system where appropriate. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree required
  • A Master’s Degree is preferred
  • Current license as an RN, BSN, or MSN, MBA, MHA, MPH, or public health degree in the State of Washington required, or equivalent highly preferred
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in direct clinical care, clinical management, clinical quality, teaching, project management, public health, or similar
  • Some degree of ambulatory experience and familiarity of the requirements in the ambulatory or retail setting highly preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results and achieve key performance indicators by working through and with a team
  • Demonstrated track record and successful ability to work with a wide array of specialty and provider groups in a collaborative manner and ability to work within a dispersed geography
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment is a must

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $81,245.00 - $116,938.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
